NEW to Infinity Hot Yoga? Here’s all You Need to Know to Get Started
Before you book your class please read our STUDIO PROCEDURES
Choose your class from our schedule, if you have never yoga’d before stay away from Evolve & Wild.
If you’re really nervous about starting Hot Yoga come to Elementary, our beginner’s class. If that’s not available then Deep Core or Infinity Sports are also a nice introduction to hot yoga.
Wear light comfortable clothes, it is hot yoga so remember you will sweat a lot so anything heavy or baggy will be uncomfortable. Shorts/leggings and vest or dry flow top are suitable.
Bring a yoga mat two large towels and water.
If you are stuck have mats and towels to hire for €2 per item & water to buy.
For your comfort try not to eat too much in the 2 hours before class.
Hydrate well, drink at least one litre of water throughout the day before your class.
All classes start on time. Arrive no more than 15 minutes before class begins to allow yourself time to check in and prepare for class.
When you arrive at the studio:
- Please WEAR YOUR MASK when you are not on your mat.
- Please SANITISE your hands using the gel or one of our many sinks.
- Please CHECK IN at the desk.
- Please KEEP YOUR DISTANCE.
- ALWAYS follow the COVID guidelines .
- DO NOT COME to the Studio if you are feeling unwell.
Always let your instructor know if you have any niggles or injuries or anything that may restrict your practice.
NO PHONES, phones should be on silent and placed in lockers provided.
Spaces are clearly marked so that correct social distancing can be maintained throughout the class. Please place your mat on top of the place marker mat.
If you feel like resting during the class sit/lie down on your mat and drink some water.
Just listen to your body and do as much as you can, stay within your pain free range of movement.
It is important to stay until the end of class, ‘cos that’s the best bit… So, even if you feel like leaving, sit/lie down, have a drink and when you feel better you can join back in with the class.
If you have used one of our mats or towels, please hand them in at reception so that they can be thoroughly sanitised.
You are welcome to use our changing facilities and showers, so bring your stuff.
Hydrate to replace fluids lost through sweating, so approx. 1-2 litres of water. It is also very important to replace electrolytes by eating plenty of fruit, vegetables, seeds & nuts, and using a little bit of rock/sea salt with your main meal.
Infinity Hot Yoga is not responsible for any lost or stolen property. You are welcome to lock your valuables in the lockers provided. Please bring your own lock.
If you have any other questions or concerns read our FAQs or you can message, call or email us.
Have fun, relax and enjoy yourself.
The heat is your friend! It improves muscle elasticity allowing you to stretch your muscles more effectively. Joint mobility is also improved as the heat makes synovial fluid in the joint less viscous so that it can move around and lubricate your joints more effectively. The heat also helps to improve your circulation bringing oxygen and nutrients to the tissues of the body and removing metabolic wastes (aka toxins). Your skin is the largest system in the body and it gets a great workout as you sweat all over. You will be warm and comfortable when lying on the floor for your final savasanah so you will be able to relax without feeling cold.
Saying that you’re not flexible enough to do yoga is like saying that you’re too hungry to eat, or too dirty to take a bath! So, no excuses come on in and you will improve your flexibility, just be patient with yourself and stay within your pain free range of motion.
You can attend any class on the schedule. You are not tied into a block or a particular day when you practice with us. If you have never yoga’d before stay away from Evolve & Wild. If you’re really nervous about starting Hot Yoga come to Elementary, our beginner’s class.
